Holly Fox

Holly has competed from coast to coast in the U.S. and internationally (including the Rolex event in Kentucky as well as events in Canada, Mexico, Ireland and England). Holly came to the eventing world from the hunter/jumper world and throughout her career has also competed at the major rated jumper shows.

In 1985, Holly was hired by the U.C. Davis Equestrian Center to coach the Event and Hunter/Jumper teams. Many of her former students have gone on to compete at the international levels of eventing and work in horse professional positions throughout the United States.

Holly started riding at age 8 and she has been hooked ever since. Her professional career began when she was asked to ride hunter/jumper horses in training at a stable in Upland California during high school. During college, she opened a horse training business at Gale Ranch in Claremont California.

Shortly after graduating from college, Holly was selected to be the Olympic test rider for the 1984 Fairbanks Ranch cross country course on her hot TB mare "Mo". Over the next several years, she was also selected for three USET winter training sessions on three different advanced level horses with both Jack Le Goff and Captain Mark Phillips where she gained invaluable classical methods of training.

In 2009, Holly opened Fox Farms where she boards and trains horses, and coaches riders.
